US Assistant Secretary Of State In Stockholm To Meet Incarcerated A$AP Rocky

US Assisatnt Secretary of State for Consular Affairs Carl Risch on July 19, 2019 arrived in Stockholm, Sweden to meet the controversially imprisoned rapper A$AP Rocky. Mr Risch will also meet two other Americans imprisoned in connection with the rapper's case.

In the meantime, rapper A$AP Rocky will appear in court in Stockholm, in the afternoon of July 19, 2019, almost 16 days after he was arrested for alleged assault in downtown Stockholm, followed by imprisonment without trial.

The controversial arrest and subsequent lengthy incarceration of the rapper under allegedly appalling and inhumane prison conditions, have been strongly condemned by many celebrities worldwide, including among others: Diddy, Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, T.I, Post Malone, DJ Khaled, Tory Lanez, and Kid Cudi, as well as Kim Kardashian who reportedly thanked President Donald Trump for his efforts to have A$AP Rocky released.

Rapper A$AP Rocky was in Sweden for a performance at Stockholm's Smash Festival. The latter was held on July 2 - 3, 2019.
