ANC Wins South Africa's 2019 General Elections
With 99.88% of the votes counted as of 10 am (South African time) May 11, 2019, South Africa's ruling party African National Congress (ANC) has provisionally won the country's 2019 general elections held on May 8, 2019, reported some media.
According to the reports, ANC won 57.50% of the ballot, while Democratic Alliance (DA) is at the second place with 20.78% of the votes. Taking the third place for the first time is Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) with 10.78% of the ballot.
Confirmed election results by the country's Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) are expected later today.
