Lori Lightfoot has won Chicago's runoff mayoral election held on April 2, 2019, reported some US media on April 3, 2019. Ms Lightfoot who has never held a public office before, becomes the first female African American mayor of Chicago.
Chicago is the capital of Illinois State and USA's third largest city.
