After a last-minute one week postponement on February 16, 2019, Nigeria's general elections 2019 finally began on February 23, 2019. The general elections entail presidential and parliamentary elections.
For the presidential poll, the battle for the top political position in Africa's most populous country will reportedly be between the incumbent president Muhammadu Buhari and former vice president Atiku Abubakar.
