Nigeria's General Elections 2019 Postponed

Nigeria's General Elections 2019 scheduled that were scheduled for February 16, 2019 have been postponed for a week, to February 23, 2019, reported various local and international media on February 16, 2019.

The postponement was announced by the country's Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after midnight leading to February 16, 2019, just hours before polling stations were due to open.

Nigeria's general elections entail election of a president and members of parliament.
