Africa Investment Forum Begins

The first Africa Investment Forum by the African Development Bank (AfDB) began in Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa on November 7, 2018.
The forum is aimed at raising funds for economic development projects in Africa, through bringing together various private and public sector actors interested in development in the continent, as well as African heads of state. African heads of state attending the inaugural event include presidents of South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, Angola, and Cameroon among others.
The forum ends on November 9, 2018.
