At least 31 people perished in Ethiopia, after a bus carrying over 60 passengers went out of control and plunged into a 100-meter-deep ravine, in the country's Amhara region, on June 15, 2026. That was reported by various African media.

More than 30 others were injured in the accident, say the reports.
The doomed bus is said to have been travelling from the town of Dessie to the capital Addis Ababa, along the country's A1 Highway, when the fatal accident occurred.
