World: World's Oldest Person Dies At 117

Officially known oldest person in the world Nabi Tajima of Japan died on April 21, 2018, at the age of 117. Born on August 4, 1900, Ms Nabi Tajima is reported to have left behind more than 160 descendants that include great-great-great grand children. She took over the world's longevity title after the reigning title holder Ms Violet Brown of Jamaica died in 2017 also at the age of 117.
