For the first time in the history of Harvard University, white students will be a minority in the 2017/18 academic year intake, with Asian Americans and African Americans constituting 22.2% and 14.6% respectively. Together with Hispanic/Latino Americans and Native Americans (Indians), non-white students during 2017/18 academic year intake will constitute 50.8%.
