Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, the son of the renowned African Hero Muammar Gaddafi, has been gunned down, reported some African media on February 4, 2026.

According to the reports, Saif al-Islam Gaddafi (53) was gunned down at his home in the city of Zintan, west of the country, on February 3, 2026. More specifically, he is said to have died from gunfire wounds he suffered in a fierce gunfight that erupted after four masked assassins stormed his home.

The assassins are still at large, say the reports.
