Russia Donates 300 Million Doses Of Sputnik V Covid-19 Vaccine To Africa

Russia has donated 300 million doses of its Sputnik V vaccine for covid-19 to Africa. The donation was announced by the African Union (AU)’s vaccine task force on February 19, 2021.

According to the AU announcement, the 300 million doses of Sputnik V vaccine will be available from May 2021 for one year.

Sputnik V covid-19 vaccine has 91.6% efficacy.
