Nigeria To Issue Visas On Arrival To African Nationals
Nigeria has announced it will introduce visas on arrival to all African nationals in 2020, reported some media on December 12, 2019. The announcement was made by the country's president Muhammadu Buhari in Aswan, Egypt, where he is attending a summit, the reports continued.
The envisaged new visas policy by Nigeria is in compliance with the African Continental Free Trade Agreement that is aimed, among others, boosting trade and free movement of people in the continent. When the policy is effected, Nigeria will become the fourth African country that issues visas on arrival to African visitors. The other three are Kenya, Ethiopia, and Rwanda.
