Ivory Coast’s PM Dies

Ivory Coast’s Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly is dead at 61. The PM reportedly died on July 8, 2020 in hospital where he was taken after collapsing during a cabinet meeting. Mr Amadou Gon Coulibaly had recently returned from France where he underwent some medical check up related to heart issues.

The PM was Ivory Coast’s ruling Rally of Houphouetists for Democracy and Peace (RHDP) party‘s presidential candidate for the country’s forthcoming general elections in October 2020.
