Ethiopia Appoints Ambassador To Eritrea As Diaspora Continue Celebrating Peace Declaration

Ethiopia has appointed an ambassador to Eritrea following recent peace declaration by the two neighboring countries, reported Ethiopian media on July 19, 2018. The new ambassador, namely Redwan Hussien, becomes the first Ethiopian representative in Eritrea in more than twenty years.

Earlier on July 18, 2018, Ethiopian Airlines resumed flights to Asmara the capital of Eritrea after decades of termination, as part of the peace process.

Elsewhere in the world, Ethiopian and Eritrean diaspora are reported to continue celebrating big time the new era in relations between their two countries. In the video above, the two countries' diaspora in Sweden are seen celebrating together the peace declaration in downtown Stockholm.

Peace is always good!
