Protests In Chicago After Police Shot Dead An African American Man

Protests erupted in Chicago on July 14, 2018, after an unprovoked police officer shot dead a peaceful African American man, on pretext that the latter was carrying a gun. The shooting took place in a predominantly African American quarter of the city, South Side. The fatal incident has been described as racially motivated in some quarters.
