Next British Royal Wedding Will Be Same Sex, As Lord Mountbatten Marries Boyfriend In Summer 2018
Just after the absolutely wonderful wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in the spring, another fascinating royal wedding is in the making. But on this occasion, the wedding will be quite different. It will be a same sex wedding. The first ever such wedding in the British royal family.
According to some British media sources on June 18, 2018, Lord Ivar Mountbatten, cousin to Queen Elizabeth II, will marry his boyfriend James Coyle in a wedding to be held in a private chapel in Devon, England, during the summer of 2018.
Lord Mountbatten announced publicly he was gay in 2016. He has had a heterosexual marriage before, and has three children aged 22, 20 and 15.
