Jamaica Celebrates 55th Independence Anniversary

Jamaica celebrated its 55th independence anniversary on August 6, 2017. Celebrations started a week earlier on July 31, 2017 in Kingston, Montego Bay, and elsewhere in the country, with various public events including world reggae finals, emancipation virgils, church services, street dances, etc.
