Tyla hosted the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2025 alias 38th Annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards that was held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA, USA, on June 21, 2025 (local time). That was her debut as host of a major global award event.

At the event, Tyla was also honoured with the award organization's Favorite Global Music Star Award.

The extraordinarily fast rising young music superstar becomes the first African to host a Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award ceremony.
