Teyana Taylor won her first Golden Globe at the 83rd Annual Golden Globes Awards alias Golden Globe Awards 2026 or simply Golden Globes 2026 that was held at the Beverly Hilton, Beverly Hils, CA, USA, on Jnauary 11, 2026 (local time). The prestigious film award event was hosted by Nikki Glaser.
Teyana Taylor the Golden Globe for the Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture category for her role in the movie One Battle After Another.
In her award acceptance speech, the actress/music artist reportedly became emotional at its end, as she was delivering a powerful, sophisticated, and highly philosophical message to women and girls of African descent of the world, or what she dubbed brown sisters and little brown girls, say to them and we quote as thus.
"To my brown sisters and little brown girls watching tonight, our softness is not a liability. Our depth is not too much. Our light does not need permission to shine. We belong in every room we walk into. Our voices matter and our dreams deserve space"

Notwithstanding the foregoing, for the award event, Teyana Taylor featured an awesome trendy elegant outfit comprising black Schiaparelli choker gown with massive unconventional front and back cutouts at bodice, as well as train that extended from the choker.
The outfit was accessorized with black hair, silver dangling earrings, and silver left wrist bracelet, among others.
