Tanzanian Passenger Plane Plunges Into Lake Victoria Killing 19

A Tanzanian passenger plane belonging to Precision Air, with 43 people onboard, plunged into Lake Victoria killing 19 people on November 6, 2022. The remaining 24 people survived the crash. That was reported some Tanzanian media.

According to the reports, the plane that was from Dar es Salaam to the north-western town of Bukoba was in its final approach to landing at the town’s airport when it plunged into shallow waters of the iconic lake just a short distance from the landing runway. Bad weather conditions are suspected to have been the cause of the horrific accident.

Lake Victoria is the largest lake in Africa. It is linked with the Mediterranean Sea by the Nile River.
