Rihanna Honored As National Hero Of Barbados

Rihnana has been honored as a National Hero of Barbados.

The global music megastar and billionaire entrepreneur was declared a National Hero of Barbados by Barbados’ Prime Minister Mia Motley during celebration of the country’s transition from a Realm to a Republic, on the night of November 29, 2021. She was then awarded the medal for the honor on November 30, 2021, at the National Heroes Square in downtown Bridgetown. Rihanna becomes the 11th National Hero of Barbados.

In 2018, The Right Excellent Robyn Rihanna Fenty was also honored by the Government of Barbados as the country’s official ambassador for culture and youth.
