Anti-Corruption Protests In Haiti Continue

Anti-corruption protests that erupted through out Haiti about a week ago continue, reported some media on June 16, 2019.

Protesters in the capital Port-au-Prince in particular, are said to have been burning tires, blocking roads, and throwing rubbish on streets, and demanding the country's president Jovenel Moise to go. The protesters accuse him of various cases of fraud and mismanagement of public funds, that they say resulted in, among others, uncompleted development projects.
