Senegal Wins AFCON Trophy For The Second Time

Senegal won the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 alias AFCON 2025 trophy after defeating Morocco in the continental football tournament's final match that took place at the 69500-seat Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, Morocco, in the late evening of January 18, 2026.
Senegal won the final match 1-0. The winning goal was scored by Pape Gueye on the 26th minute of extra time.
This is second time Senegal has won the trophy.
AFCON 2025 was held in 5 cities in Morocco from December 21, 2025 - January 18, 2026.
