Malaika Mihambo won the women's long jump final at the European Athletics Championships 2024 in Rome, Italy, on June 12, 2024. She took the gold medal with a stunning leap of 7.22 m.

The reigning Olympic women's long jump champion becomes 2024 European women's long jump champion. This is second time she has won the title in Rome.
