Legendary US Civil Rights Movement Pioneer Joseph Lowery Dies

Legendary pioneer of the US Civil Rights Movement Reverend Dr Joseph Lowery is dead. He died on March 27, 2020 at the age of 98.

Dr Lowery was a renown champion of civil rights. He worked alongside Dr Martin Luther King and other prominent pioneers of US Civil Rights Movement in the 1960 on-wards. He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2009 by former President Barack Obama.
