Innovator Of Rock And Roll Little Richard Dies

The undisputed innovator of Rock and Roll music genre Little Richard born Richard Wayne Penniman is dead, reported numerous media. Also known as the founding father of Rock and Roll, Little Richard died on May 9, 2020 at the age of 87.

The legendary music artist is said to have made a breakthrough into the global music scene in 1956 with his masterpiece hit Tutti Frutti. That was immediately followed by other incredible hits that include, among others, Rip It Up, Lucille, Long Tall Sally, and Good Golly Miss Molly.

As a musician, Little Richard is said to have inspired many big time music artists, including Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Elton John, David Bowie, and Prince, with Elvis Presley and Mick Jagger having cited him as their influencer.
