George Floyd Funeral Held In Houston, TX

On June 9, 2020, a private funeral service for George Floyd was held at the Fountain of Peace Church in his hometown of Houston, Texas.

The funeral service was aired live by most of the world’s media and news giants including CNN, BBC, and Al Jazeera, among others. It was attended by about 500 invited guests including Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather, and civil rights leader Reverend Al Sharpton.

George Floyd died on May 25, 2020 after a policeman of European descent sadistically suffocated him by kneeling on his neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds. The barbaric murder triggered massive racial injustice protests throughout the USA and rest of the world, that may be the dawn of the end of global silence to racism.
