General Charles Brown Jr. Becomes First African American Boss Of US Air Force
US Senate on June 9, 2020 endorsed General Charles Brown Jr. as the next chief of staff of the US Air Force, reported some media. The general was nominated for the position in March 2020, by President Donald Trump.
General Charles Brown Jr becomes that first African American to take the position. A combat pilot himself, he has served in the US Air Force for 36 years.
