Diddy Slapped With 50-Month Jail Term

Sean "Diddy" Combs alias Diddy was slapped with a 50-month jail term by a judge in a federal district court in New York City, on October 3, 2025 (local time). He was also fined $0.5 million and ordered to serve 5 years of supervised release.
The sentence comes after a jury in the court convicted the legendary wealthy musician and entrepreneur in two counts of prostitution-related charges, and acquitted him of two more serious charges, namely, sex trafficking, and racketeering conspiracy, in early July 2025.
Responding to the sentence, Diddy's defence attorneys reportedly said they intend to appeal the sentence. They are said to have asked the court for a maximum 14-month jail term that would have automatically implied about a month in jail for Diddy because of the time he languished in incarceration while on trial.
