Results of final clinical trial of Cuba’s own locally made covid-19 vaccine called CIGB-66 alias Abdala, show that the vaccine has a staggering 92.28% efficacy after 3 doses. That was tweeted on June 21, 2021, by the country’s Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology. The latter is the manufacturer of the vaccine.
Another locally made Cuban covid-19 vaccine, namely Soberana 02, is said to have 62% efficacy after 2 doses. Like CIGB-66, Soberana 02 is a 3-dose vaccine.
About 80% of all vaccines used in Cuba are locally made. The country has made gigantic milestones in health care, education, and technology despite decades of silly sanctions against it by USA and its capitalist allies. _____________________________ © 2015 - 2021 Africauptodate. All Rights Reserved
