Cuba Reinstated To USA’s List Of State Sponsors Of Terrorism
Africa's Diaspora Communities | Cuba January 12, 2021
US State Department on January 11. 2021 reinstated Cuba to its controversial list of state sponsors of terrorism, reported some media.
Cuba was removed from the list by the previous US administration some years ago, followed by normalization of diplomatic relations between the two neighboring nations. Since then, Cuba, one of the few remaining communist regimes in the world, has made considerable political and economic reforms. As such, US allegations of sponsorship of terrorism by the Caribbean nation now, may be viewed in many quarters as unsubstantiated, regressive, and highly controversial.
