Building Collapse In Nigeria Kills At Least 10 People

At least 10 people were killed after a dilapidated 4 storey building collapsed in Lagos, Nigeria, on March 13, 2019, reported various media. The death toll may increase as search for survivors in the rubble is still ongoing.
The building located in Island area in the city, was marked for demolition by the area's local authority. It consisted of some apartments and a school that offered nursery and primary school education. At the time if its collapse, 144 pupils are said to have been inside attending classes at the school.
Collapse of old buildings is rather common in Nigeria.
