Israel's Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu said Israel is returning to Africa in a big way. He said that on June 3, 2017, as he was leaving Israel to attend and address the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS, conference in Monrovia, Liberia. After his diplomatically successful visit to Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Ethiopia in Eastern Africa in July 2016, Mr Netanyahu expects the ECOWAS visit to add to Israel efforts aimed at regaining Africa's support in the United Nations and other international organizations. At the same, there are rumors that the king of Morocco will ditch the ECOWAS conference in Liberia to avoid possible encounter with Netanyahu! ________________ © 2015 - 2017 Africauptodate.
