Man In Sweden Slapped With $16 000 Fine For Buying Sex Six Times

A man in Sweden has been slapped with a 132 000 kronor (about $16 000) fine for buying sex six times, reported some Swedish media on June 15, 2021.

According to the reports, the suspected sex buyer was slapped with the hefty fine after he confessed to the police that he, indeed, bought sex six times at a place in downtown Falun, a town in the country’s region of Dalarna. The man is said to be one of over 200 suspected sex buyers arrested and detained in a police operation that took place in the region three weeks ago.

Buying sex is illegal in Sweden, but selling it is perfectly okay.
