Voters in Burkina Faso on November 22, 2020 went to polling stations to elect a new president and members of the National Assembly, in the country’s general elections. Incumbent President Roch Marc Christian Kabore who is seeking a second five-year term in office, is facing challenge from three other presidential nominees.
The elections are, however, said to be marred by violence from some extremist factions.
