Angry Protests In Kenosha, WI, Against Barbaric Police Shooting Of Jacob Blake Continue

Updated: Aug 28, 2020

Angry protests in the city of Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA, against the barbaric shooting by a racist policeman of an unarmed African American Jacob Blake continued for a third night in a row, reported some media on August 26, 2020.

The angry protests erupted after a European American policeman on August 23, 2020 barbarically shot unarmed Jacob Blake seven times in the back at close range as he was heading to his vehicle in which his children were inside at the time. Because of the gunshot injuries, Jacob Blake is said to have been paralyzed from waist down and may never be able to walk again. The shooter has not yet been arrested despite demands by Jacob Blake's family for authorities in Wisconsin to do that.

The angry protests in Kenosha that have led to buildings and vehicles been set alight probably due to frustration caused by the now regular brutality of European American police on innocent unarmed African Americans, are continuing despite declaration of state of emergency by the State of Wisconsin on August 25, 2020 and presence of some National Guard troops on the streets.

Furthermore, on the early hours of August 26, 2020, gunfire during a clash between protesters and other groups or individuals reportedly resulted in two fatalities and one person seriously wounded.

The barbaric shooting of Jacob Blake came just about three months after the sadistic killing of George Floyd on street side in Minneapolis by another European American policeman on broad daylight and on camera, while his three colleagues, a European American and two Asian Americans just stood there watching!
