Zimbabwe Discovers Massive Oil And Gas Reserves

President Emmerson Munangagwa of Zimbabwe announced on November 1, 2018, that his country has discovered oil and gas reserves, reported various local and international media same day.

According to the announcement, the discovery was made by an Australian firm called Invictus Energy Ltd, along the country's border with Mozambique. The oil and gas reserves are Africa's largest, covering staggering 200 square kilometers, said Zimbabwe's energy minister after the president's announcement.

Great news for Zimbabwe as the discovery may mark the begin of the end of the country's implacable economic circumstances.
