JLP Wins Jamaica’s 2020 General Elections With Landslide Victory

Jamaica’s ruling party, Jamaica Labor Party (JLP), has won the country’s 2020 general elections that were held on September 3, 2020 with a landslide victory. That was reported by various media on September 4, 2020.

JLP is said to have won 49 seats of the country’s total 63 parliamentary seats. The victory by JLP implies that the party retains power hence a second term in office for incumbent Prime Minister Andrew Holness.
