Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Cross-Sea Bridge Unveiled

China's Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge alias HKZM Bridge was officially inaugurated by the country's president Xi Jinping on October 23, 2018. The cross-sea bridge will be opened for public traffic on October 24, 2018.

HKZM Bridge links Hong Kong with mainland China at the cities of Zhuhai and Macau, cutting travel time between the former and the latter two cities from 3 hours to only 30 minutes.

The bridge is 55 kilometres long and currently world's longest cross-sea bridge. It took 9 years to build at a staggering cost of $20 billion.
