Stacey Abrams Becomes First Female African American Nominee For Governor


On May 22, 2018, Stacey Abrams was elected by the Democratic Party in Georgia as the party's nominee for the State's governor position. The 44 year old Ms Abrams who is a Yale Law School graduate, becomes not only the first African American woman in Georgia to be nominated for governor, but the whole of the USA.
