Diva Janet Jackson was honored big time at the Billboard Music Awards 2018 held in Las Vegas, Nevada, on May 20, 2018. She received the Icon Award for her invaluable contribution to the music industry over the years. She is only the 7th person to receive the award.

Other artists who were also honored immensely at the event, included Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, and Taylor Swift.

The event was hosted by artist Kelly Clarkson.
