Senegal's Presidential Election 2024 was scheduled to be held on February 25, 2024, but was postponed indefinitely by the country's incumbent President Macky Sall on February 3, 2024, citing some pre-election issues. However, the country's Constitutional Council annulled the postponement and ordered the election to be held ASAP.

In response to the Constitional Council's ruling, the government there set June 2, 2024 as new date for the presidential election. The Constitution Council also annulled the government decision on new date for the election, saying that it was unconstitutional. The new date implied that the presidential election would take place after incumbent president has completed his mandatory two terms in office. The incumbent president's last term in office expires on April 2, 2024.
