Moeketsi Majoro Becomes Lesotho’s New PM

Moeketsi Majoro has become Lesotho’s new Prime Minister after been sworn in on May 20, 2020. A former Minister of Finance, Moeketsi Majoro takes over the Kingdom’s top political position from Thomas Thabane who formally resigned on May 18, 2020.

The former PM is facing serious criminal allegations connected to the fatal shooting of his ex-wife Lipolelo Thabane on the outskirts of Maseru on June 14, 2017.
