Man In Texas Slapped With 70-Year Jail Term For Spitting At Cops

A court in Texas, USA, on April 12, 2023, slapped an African American man, namely Larry Pearson (36), with a 70-year jail term after it found him guilty of two counts of harassment of a public servant. That was reported by some US media on April 14, 2023.

The two counts of harassment hence the extraordinary long jail term followed an incident in May 2022 by which Larry Pearson is said to have spitted at two police officers who were arresting him for alleged domestic violence.
