Malaika Mihambo Wins Women’s Long Jump Gold Medal At World Athletics Championships 2022

Malaika Mihambo successfully defended her World Women’s Long Jump Champion crown she won in Doha, Qatar, in 2019, by winning a gold medal at the World Athletics Championships 2022 in Eugene, Oregon, on the evening of July 24, 2022 (local time).

The 28-year-old African German slayed the championships with an incredible 7.12m leap to win a gold medal at the women’s long jump final, hence confirming she is still the undisputed World Women’s Long Jump Champion.
