Large Offshore Reserves Of Oil And Gas Found In Ivory Coast

Large offshore reserves of oil and gas have been found in Ivory Coast, reported some media on September 2, 2021. The proven reserves are located 60km off the coast and estimated at 1.5 – 2 billion barrels of crude oil and about 51 million cubic meters of natural gas. The find was made by Eni of Italy.

Ivory Coast is already an oil producer with 4 oilfields in production.
