Church Attack In Johannesburg Leaves Five People Dead

At least five people were killed after some armed men attacked a church in Johannesburg, South Africa on July 11, 2020. That was reported by some media.

The attack occurred in a church called International Pentecostal Holiness Church in the city’s suburb of Zuurbekom, and said to have been triggered by a leadership dispute within the church. The church is reportedly one of the richest in South Africa.

40 people that include some police and army soldiers have been arrested in connection with the attack, say the reports.
