Ethiopia's Army Chief Shot Dead

Ethiopian army's chief of staff General Seare Mekonnen has been shot dead, reported various media on June 23, 2019. The general is said to have been shot dead at his home in Addis Ababa on June 23, 2019 by his own body guard.

Earlier on June 22, 2019, the president of the country's state of Amhara, Ambachew Mekonnen, was also shot dead.
