Sudan's Ruling Military Council And Opposition Reach Agreement
Sudan's military ruling council and the opposition alliance on April 28, 2019 reached agreement on a way forward towards resolving the country's political crisis that culminated in ousting of former leader Omar al-Bashir. That was reported by various media.
According to the reports, the ruling military council and the opposition alliance agreed to form a new ruling body that will be made up of members from both the military and the opposition. However, how many members each side should contribute to the new body is yet to be agreed.
