14 Killed In Stampede During Pre-Election Campaign Rally In Nigeria
At least 14 people have been killed in a stampede in Nigeria, during a pre-election campaign rally by the country's president Muhammadu Buhari, reported various media on February 13, 2019.
According to the reports, the deadly incident occurred on February 12, 2019, inside the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in the city of Port Harcourt in the oil rich Rivers State, as people tried to get out of the arena after an unexplained panic.
Nigeria's 2019 general elections will be held on February 16, 2019.
